Back in 2008 the Camelot Wind Project was just getting started, and four years later in November 2012 it is up and running. The Camelot turbine is the first industrial scale turbine to be erected in Plymouth. Throughout this site you can get to know the project, its team members and see what was accomplished over the four year process.
Throughout the four year process we had to overcome many
obstacles through siting and design to permitting and construction.
Camelot Wind uses a 1500 kW machine on a 70 meter tower with a rotor diameter of 82 meters!
